Links and Likes

As The Crime Prevention Website approaches 10K visitors and 40K page views we just want to say thank you to all those organisations that have been linking up to us and spreading the word. 

It’s important to us that these links are reciprocal because our linking sites have their own valuable information and advice to be had; more often than not specific to what’s going on in their local communities.  It’s for this reason that we‘re in the process of creating a ‘Partners Page’, which will go live on the site in the next few weeks.

One thing that we have been noticing of late is the large number of referrals we get from organisations who haven’t informed us about the link or from mentions in forum and blogs posts.  Now we’re not complaining!  But it would be useful to know about a new link so that we might reciprocate if permitted, because links are all about helping each other out.

We encourage links from Neighbourhood and Home Watch Groups, Residents Associations, Village, Town and City information websites and from any site that would benefit from a link to a big source of crime prevention information.
