Will you be hiring a car or driving your own during your holiday in Spain this summer? Then you might want to take a look at this useful guidance produced by our British Embassy in Spain.
According to the British Embassy, the AP7 motorway between the French border (La Jonquera) and Alicante is a black spot for robberies. British nationals have been tricked by distraction techniques such as loud bangs or people supposedly signalling a ‘problem’ with a vehicle with the intention of forcing you to stop on the motorway.
When travelling abroad it’s always a good idea to check out the ‘Travel and Living Abroad’ pages on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s website , especially if you’ve not been to the country before.
You know it makes sense!
