Wanna buy a watch, fags, trainers, perfume, a gold necklace?
This interesting article by Claire McNeilly concerning fake goods appears in the Belfast Telegraph today and is worth a read. The main message from the piece is that buying fake goods anywhere simply fuels the criminal underworld. Not only that, but you end up buying something that’s poor quality and sometimes even dangerous.
The report informs us that ‘76% of Trading Standards authorities are investigating fake booze — up 25% from 51% in just two years’. [and some of this stuff can kill you!]
Visiting a market or car boot sale this week? Don’t get conned!
