The High Garrett Community Association and its Neighbourhood Watch link up to The Crime Prevention Website

We are delighted to announce a reciprocal link to the residents of High Garrett via their brand new website; a site that is also shared by their local Neighbourhood Watch group. 

High Garrett is an unparished community within the Braintree District of Essex and as such the residents have no means of collectively putting their views across on matters that directly affect the area in which they live. Unlike parishes they also have no access to funds for improvements etc.

The formation of this new association is an attempt to get High Garrett recognised again as a separate and individual community, without suffering the red tape and formalities that a parish council would involve.

So, we wish them luck with this initiative and we’ll be looking in from time to time to see how things are progressing.  In the meantime we hope that direct access to TCPW will be of some assistance to High Garrett’s residents
