First Scottish organisation links up

It’s been a long time coming, but we are absolutely delighted to welcome the East Kilbride and District Crime Prevention Panel as our first partnering website from Scotland

The Panel consists of representatives from Local Voluntary Organisations, Public Bodies, local business people and interested individual members of the public.

The panel is committed to:       

• Promoting better understanding and co-operation between Police and Community
• The generation and implementation of Crime Prevention / Community Safety Initiatives
• The promotion and fostering of safety & well-being in the community in partnership with other agencies and organisations
• Alerting the community to types of  crime prominent in the area and advising on lawful preventative measures
• Providing information and advice on Community Safety & Crime Prevention
• Establishing and nurturing positive communication between the generations  - based on understanding and mutual respect
