Our friends at Thames Valley Police have just passed on a warning about a very recent spate of headlamp thefts from Land Rover Discovery models taking place in the West Midlands Region.
A quick search on the internet reveals this to have been a problem for some considerable time in several areas of the country with online forum discussions going back three or more years.
There’s a newspaper report in Wolverhampton’s Express and Star, which appeared yesterday, which seems to suggest that it is the older models that are more at risk.
According to the report the lights are worth £700 each!
