Stoke-on-Trent Neighbourhood Watch and Staffordshire Police are running a Crime Prevention Day this Friday 5th July in Sainsbury’s car park, London Road Stoke between 10:00 and 15:00.

At the event you’ll be able to have anti-tamper screws attached to your vehicle’s registration plates (a way of reducing the opportunity to clone vehicles), pick up a range of useful crime prevention leaflets, stickers and forensic marking tools and also to talk to members of your local policing team about general crime prevention.  You will also be able to join your local Neighbourhood Watch and register with other free schemes such as OWL (an alert messaging system) and Immobilize (a database for recording property details)

The weather’s looking good for Friday and I’ve no doubt there’ll be plenty of parking so if you live in this area of the city do get yourself down to the event and help support your Neighbourhood Watch and police team.
