The Board of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC), the UK’s professional organisation for independent security consultants, has recently approved a reciprocal link between our two websites.
Its members are independent consultants and have no allegiance to specific suppliers of goods or services. The majority of members come from a police or military background or have been leaders in their field in the security industry. Many of them either head their own companies, or else are senior representatives in consultancy practices. Collectively their expertise and experience covers every facet of corporate and government security and in all sectors of commerce and industry
The aims of the Association are to:
- Maintain the highest professional and business standards amongst its members, sticking rigidly to its published Code of Conduct
- Stay in the forefront of work on security methods, technology, applications, legislation and standards, and to share its knowledge and experience
- Ensure members provides services of the highest quality, so that Security Consultancy achieves full recognition, acceptance and respect
The Association’s patrons are former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Lord Peter Imbert, Lord James Bethell and former President of the Police Superintendents Association Lord Brian MacKenzie.
I am absolutely delighted to be associated with the ASC and will be supporting them into the future.
Look out for the forthcoming special page devoted to the ASC in References on this website, but in the meantime, if you are reading this and are in need of highly professional security advice do please visit their website to see how they can help.
