My thanks to our Partners, Christine Graham Consultancy, for bringing our attention to the following important report from Ordnance Survey and The UK’s Fraud Prevention Service titled ‘Identity Crime: On Your Doorstep’, which can be read at this link
CIFAS - the UK’s Fraud Prevention Service and Ordnance Survey have worked together to produce
this report, using geographic intelligence to aid the understanding of identity crimes and of some of
the specific risks. The geo-coded and mapped fraud information has been analysed in order to establish the realities behind some commonly held perceptions within the fraud prevention community about specific risks and to shine a light on some of the emerging threats.
