Thank you to all who’ve taken the time to visit this site. It’s been busier than we expected and we’ve received lots of emails of support. The Home Security Survey has proved especially popular. Tomorrow is a day when lots of people will return to work and find my email waiting for them, so looks like another busy day in the making!
I have the plumber round my house at the moment. He’s just told me that somebody he knows who lives in a remote part of the sticks has just had a burglary. The burglars put a grappling iron through the letter plate of the front door, attached it to a 4X4 and pulled the entire door straight out of the frame. I’ve not heard that one before and will now add this new MO into the advice section for letter plates (awful things, letter plates!)
