Central Bedfordshire Neighbourhood Watch Association links up

We are delighted to announce that we have a reciprocal link in place with Central Bedfordshire Neighbourhood Watch Association. 

The Association provides overall supervision to the NHW Schemes in 40 separate locations throughout Central Bedfordshire.  The Association holds regular meetings with the Area Coordinators and liaises closely with Bedfordshire Police and other interested groups to address issues that particularly affect that part of Bedfordshire.

Their websites is kept up-to-date, carries some very useful crime prevention advice and posts news items regularly.  If you live in the area do please visit the site and if you fancy setting up a watch or would be happy to help out for a couple hours each week with an existing one they would be very glad to hear from you.

We should remind ourselves that Neighbourhood Watch is there to encourage us all to look out for our neighbours, adopt sensible crime prevention measures and help the police by reporting crime and suspicious behaviour.  It is effective and is just as important now as it was when it was introduced to the UK 32 years ago.
