I was checking for broken links on the Police Service and Police and Crime Commissioners page yesterday when I discovered that Durham Constabulary has been linking to this website since before September last year – and we didn’t even know about it!  Normally, when an organisation links, our Google analytics software picks up the referrals and lets us know.  For some reason this hasn’t been happening from the Durham Police site and so hence our surprise to find the link in place; a pleasant one I might add!

Their Crime Prevention and Personal Safety and Security page includes quite a few links, apart from ours, including a link to my former employer, Secured by Design, the excellent ‘Little Book of Big Scams’ published by the Metropolitan Police, The Master Locksmiths Association, with whom we also have a reciprocal link and a whole raft of other links to lots of useful documents.

We are very pleased to have been included and although we don’t have the referral data we’ve awarded them a silver medal to recognise the link and to say thanks.

If you know who is responsible for the link do please get in touch so we can contact you to say thank you properly.
