I’ve been checking, re-checking and double re-checking the figures and thanks to the support of my former colleagues in the police, colleagues in industry and my many Neighbourhood Watch supporters TCPW is now receiving over 7,000 visits a week, meaning that we’ve hit our long sought after target of averaging over 1,000 visits a day!
Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah!!
If this rate of visitor growth is maintained over the rest of this year we should be hitting our annual visitor rate target of 400,000 (reading 750,000+ pages) ahead of schedule, meaning that we are achieving a key objective for the site, which is to provide all members of our society with free, accurate and independent crime prevention advice.
It is important for me to emphasise though that the advice on this website should not be seen as an alternative to what you might get from your local police. It should be seen, instead, as an addition. I cannot emphasise this enough, because crime risk is different for all of us, often driven by who we are and where we live. So please listen and take note of the messages you get from your local police and use this site to help you find the extra detail you’ll need to make those improvements to your home and personal security.
Further detail about TCPW’s performance and news about security products and other new stuff will be in my next Newsletter due at the end of this month, maybe early March (I’ve been up-to-neck with writing new content for the site so there might be a slight delay). Please subscribe to the Newsletter at the link below
And, if you’re operating a website that’s linking to TCPW, may I take this opportunity to extend some extra-special thanks to you and your site’s visitors for helping to make all this happen.
