Medals awarded to linking websites

Every few weeks I check the numbers of referrals I’ve received from my reciprocally linking websites.  These are the sites that show a link to The Crime Prevention Website from one of their pages and they’re listed on my Partners page here.

I award medals to my linking sites partly for a bit of fun, but also as a way to say thank you very much for the link.  Obviously, more links get bigger and brighter medals!

It’s easy to link to The Crime Prevention Website and if you do we will, of course, link back.  Linking like-minded and related websites helps to increase visitor traffic to both sites and importantly provides our visitors with an enhanced visitor experience.  And it’s a fact that visitors referred to the Crime Prevention Website from other websites spend twice as long on the site and read twice as many pages, so they are highly valued.
