As part of their efforts to control rural crime in Cumbria, Cumbria Constabulary is launching Horsewatch in Backbarrow today.
Horsewatch is administered through Cumbria Community Messaging and you can register for free using the contact details shown on this page of the police website.
The scheme's aim is to offer advice and guidance to all those involved in equestrian pursuits - no matter how large or small their roles might be - on the best way to ensure they don't get an unwelcome call from the equine criminals and how best to protect their equine property. You’ll also get access to discounted equine security products
CORRECTION:
The launch will take place at 10am on Wednesday at Bigland Hall Riding Centre, Backbarrow.
