Horse owners and riders will get the chance to listen to advice from crime prevention experts at an event to launch Horsewatch tomorrow at Blackdyke Farm Riding Centre, Blackford.
On hand to give their expert advice are: Nigel Sutcliffe, Co-ordinator for the local Horsewatch, PC Alisa Goodall, PCSO Laura Woods and Community Safety Officer Andrew Hunton.
Guests include: Regional Director of the British Horse Society, David Kerry, and author and former Border TV presenter Gilly Fraser.
The event provides local communities with the chance to learn more about the Horsewatch scheme and listen to expert crime prevention advice.
The event has been organised by Cumbria Police and will be held between 11am and 1pm on Friday 9 May.
