Almost 6% of our visitors are referred from other websites and they’re very important to us! In contrast to visitors that find us via Google or some other search engine they read twice as many pages and are on the site three times longer!
On the TCPW’s Partners page we list our known 186 referring sites and next to each of the entries you’ll see some medals. The number of medals indicates the numbers of visitors they have referred to us since the link went in place. Issuing medals is simply our way of acknowledging the other sites and thanking those that partner us. Not all are ‘partners’ in the sense that we have an agreed reciprocal link in place, but nevertheless it seems that wherever we get listed or linked to we do benefit from extra traffic to our site.
It’s great to see that Gloucestershire Police have got to Star level joining the Metropolitan, Thames Valley and Hampshire police services. Likewise it’s good to see four Neighbourhood Watches in the medal list this month and if you live in their areas do please pay their sites a visit.
