We should all know by now that drug, alcohol and gambling addiction can and often does lead to crimes, such as burglary, thefts from vehicles, shoplifting and robbery and although there are no ‘official’ figures that can tell us the precise amount of crime committed to fuel an addiction research over many years regularly returns figures of up to eighty per cent.
