I’m not suggesting there’s any connection between these two facts by the way! So, after two and a half weeks sunning myself in Northern Cyprus (and not finding any of the British villains living there) I’m back in the UK and eager to pick up where I left off.
On Sunday 7th October this site will be 6 months old, so I’ll be publishing a few facts and figures to mark the occasion and I’ll also be putting together the next Newsletter for publication in about a week’s time. Since I’ve been away daily visitor numbers have actually gone up, so maybe I should go away on holiday more often!
This coming Sunday 28th October sees the clocks going back one hour and the evenings getting darker earlier. So, now’s the time to buy/set/find/repair those timers you use for the lights and replace lamps etc for the winter. Most police forces around the UK experience a spike in reports of after dark thefts and burglaries in November, probably because the unoccupied home stands out like a sore thumb against those that are occupied with the lights on – enough said?
You know it makes sense – and it’s great to be back!
