Having linked with Essex Police back in 2012 it’s great that we’re now linking up with several of the Neighbourhood Watch Associations in the county. It’s sometimes difficult to understand just how huge the Neighbourhood Watch movement is and so we’re delighted to have made this latest link to Southend Neighbourhood Watch Association through their website SouthendWatch.
Neighbourhood Watch has been in existence in Southend since the mid 1980s and all the police areas can claim to have Neighbourhood Watch schemes being run by volunteers, amounting to more than 650 schemes across the Borough!
On the SouthendWatch website you’ll find ‘WatchWord’ providing up-to-date news items and links to matters that affect Neighbourhood Watch and policing in the area and ‘News Flash’ which gives warnings of current crimes and trends and crime prevention advice.
The site is well worth a visit and we’re very pleased to have made the link.
