People who have had power and garden tools stolen in Worcestershire are being asked to contact police following the recovery of a number of items in Stourport.

About 20 items, including chainsaws and strimmers were found when a warrant was executed in Stourport.

Police believe they were stolen from garages or sheds across Worcestershire.

Anyone who has been victim of a theft in which items such as these have been stolen are asked to contact police with any receipts, original packaging, or serial numbers they have. If they don’t have any proof of ownership, they will need to provide a detailed description.

For further information contact PC Parmar at Kidderminster Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

Please note, PC Parmar does not want her first name released

TCPW Comment:  Here we have one more example of the police recovering loads of stolen property, but with no idea who the victims are!  Obviously I don’t have the details of this particular case, but wouldn’t it be great if PC Parmar could link the property to particular crimes and maybe charge the suspect!

Please make PC Parmar’s job a lot easier by marking your property – you know it makes sense!
