The police in Darlington have recruited a number of gnomes to help them drive home the importance of crime prevention this summer.
The article in the Northern Echo includes all the usual gnome jokes, which I have resisted to repeat. The initiative is in partnership with Darlington’s Business Improvement District and so I suppose there’s no business like gnome business.
