Promoting the crime prevention message, ‘Fiji Style’

A novel way of promoting the crime prevention message was celebrated in the Fijian island of Taveuni last night during the crowing of Miss Northern Crime Prevention Carnival – Irene Mary Kumar by Lieutenant Colonel Ilai Moceica

She said, after her crowning, “This is a really big achievement for me and I believe I have a major task ahead of me to fulfil the purpose of increasing awareness on crime prevention.  Such awareness programs shouldn't end here. Instead, [they] should be increased every day so we are able to create a safer and more secure economy,"
