Great news!

Bedfordshire Police have placed a link to this site from the crime reduction page of their website.

This new link comes after I wrote to Bedfordshire’s Chief Constables back in June suggesting that a reciprocal link might be beneficial to both our websites and our visitors.  The link was delayed a little, because they are in the process of reviewing their website content, so I’m best pleased that the link to TCPW is being shown while their own crime reduction pages are being newly developed. I shall look forward to reading the new pages.

This new link marks the 12th police service to link to TCPW and, what’s more, I have another three police services also considering a link.

Linking to and from police service websites is an important goal for us at TCPW, because such links provide additional services to the public at no cost to either organisation or the public purse.  With this in mind it is still very important that people requiring crime prevention and reduction advice should first enquire with their local police.  It is important, because your local police will have up-to-date information about current crime levels and prevailing crime trends, which is vital if you want to improve your security. TCPW exists to provide that extra help and detail and also enables people to chat about crime problems on our newly launched forum.

So, it’s a sincere thank you to the Chief Constable of Bedfordshire Police and here’s to many years of working together.
